The Best Rose Ever
Not harsh or acidic like a lot of Rose. Soft with delicious fruit flavours. Lovely for Sumner drinking. Great with food and great on its own too. Slightly lower alcohol content. Love it. Thank you Ocado for stocking this delicious wine.
light medium wine
only 10.5% alcohol - medium so beware if you want a bone dry wine... wish there were more wines at this alcohol level and in half bottles too - hand on heart they are not as nice as higher alcohol wines but at least slightly less hefty than the 13-14% heifers that seem to be the norm in supermarket wine these days...
beware-very sweet!
So, I am a big fan of a sweet rosé in the summer, and after my favourite rosé Calvet danjou is out of stock thought Id try this M&S version it is sweet, and I mean very sweet. It is smooth, not acidic, and palatable in that respect, but this is like drinking a muscat! Not worth £8 in my opinion, you would be far better spending on £4-£5 a bottle Barefoot or bog standard Echo Falls.
too sweet
The pictures made it look like a lighter coloured rose which are usually dry, it says medium dry but it is quite sweet. Just about drinkable for me even though Im a dry wine person, but many others may that prefer dry wine may not be able to stomach it.
sweet and gentle taste
really liked it, I prefer sweeter wine, so was really happy with this one. Would buy it again
Very sweet
If you like a sweet rose then this is for you. If you are used to the drier Provence style roses then this will be very disappointing.
