Preparation and Usage

Carving
Correct carving is important. Use a sharp knife and a two-pronged fork with thumb guard.
1. Place the cooked joint on a carving board and pierce the joint firmly with the carving fork.
2. Carve the joint thinly from one end to the other.

Oven cook - From Chilled. Handling raw meat safely: this product contains raw meat and must be cooked according to the cooking instructions.
Electric 240°C, Fan 220°C, Gas 9, 35-55 mins
Rare 35 mins
Medium 40 mins
Well done 55 mins
Needs cooking. Preheat oven. Remove label. Remove film by running a sharp knife around rim of foil. Remove butter pat and set aside. Place foil tray directly on middle shelf of oven. Remove from oven 5 mins before cooking end time, baste and add the butter. Return to oven and cook for a further 5 mins. Cover with foil and allow to rest for 20 mins before carving. Do not reheat.
