Very tough, should have bought mince
Disappointed. Lacked flavour, and was extremely tough. I wish I had bought mince instead. No one was interested in the roast, lots of leftovers, which stayed in fridge, no one interested in even sandwiches out of it. Because so tough and chewy. Bought on a flash sale and wouldn't even pay that again.
excellent
Very tasty. Very expensive! Bought on flash sale to try. Would buy at normal price for a special occasion.
Absolutely amazing
This was the best beef joint I can remember eating. If you get a chance buy it.
Great taste
Got this in a flash sale so made it much cheaper. Lovely beef but too expensive for me to make a regular purchase.
Delicious
On the expensive side but as it was for a special occasion I took the chance based on the previous reviews and am glad I did. The beef was tender and really tasty, non of this bland not sure what sort of meat you are eating here. We also enjoyed it cold in sandwiches so nothing was wasted. I was lucky to get this in a flash sale, but even with that discount it was still expensive. Would I buy again? Yes if discounted & for a special occasion.
Superb!
What a fantastic piece of meat. Tender, succulent and with an excellent flavour, even when well-done (I would have preferred it rare, but this was for Mother's Day dinner and that's her preference). There's easily enough for four people. Highly recommended.
