Shortcake should be a pale colour - exactly as the picture on the pack shows. but these are overcooked - quite brown on the outside and consequently too crisp (rather than crumbly) and taste over cooked. disappointed.

These are very tasty, sugary and crisp. A great substitute for shortbread fingers.

I loved these for a long time but over the last months they colour of the wrapping went from red to pink and at that point the taste also changed to an under baked flavour. They also crumble to bits now so no dunking. Sad because they just don't taste nice now. Also has happened with the degestives since change in wrapping from red to pink.
