Good but not great
Its not as good as the bishops Shropshire blue, a bit too sharp, although its cheaper and not bad.
How Much Salt
Was considering buying this cheese but could find no reading for SALT content. This is needed is you are following a low salt diet.
too strong for shropshire blue
I do not usually buy M&S shropshire blue cheese and found this less creamy and pretty unpleasant may be will use it for cooking but not something I will buy again.
Great for blue cheese sauce
We're not big blue cheese eaters as a rule, but we got this in the flash sale and really enjoyed it. In particular made a super speedy and gorgeous keto blue cheese dip/sauce. Crumbled a small amount into Alpro Zero Carbs yoghurt with dried parsley, zapped for a minute in the microwave. Packed with flavour so only need a small amount for maximum satisfaction. We'd buy again.
I love a blue cheese but,
I didnt like this very much. I found it had a very strong unpleasant farm yard vibe. Probably just me, I am vegetarian for a similar reason.
Superb cheese, my new favourite
Beautiful, orange, heavily blue-veined cheese that is very more-ish. This is not made in Shropshire, sadly, so I could not boast of eating local produce but it is really very good indeed. When I had blue Shropshire many years ago, I found it too mild, but not this. Faultless.
