Good but don\x27t overcook
These need literally a flash in the pan to be cooked. I love the flavour but it is hard to get the texture right and avoid them being flabby. That said, when we do get it right they're brilliant!
Under flavoured, weird ingredients, turned to mush
I guess these are so cheap that its maybe not fair to expect too much, they should at this price point perhaps be compared (favourably) to something like Pot Noodles or Super Noodles rather than proper food, but other than the low price there's not much to redeem them. I found them under-flavoured, and they turned to mush when cooked. I'm also not a fan of some of the ingredients: gluose syrup, in noodles, really?!
so tasty
These are a nicely seasoned, whether for lunch or dinner.
Decent noodles
Don't pan fry them as they disintegrate, pop them in the microwave. Glad to have a gluten free option as part of the offer.
Gummy!
Was not impressed with this. Very clumpy and gummy, I know that's not best words to describe the product but that really was what it was. Won't buy again.
Stodgy
These noodles were very disappointing. I cooked them very quickly in a stir fry with prawns and they ended up really gloopy and tasteless. Would not buy again but the M & S lentil noodles are delicious. Wish I’d bought those instead of wasting my money on these.
