Instructions
Oven cook - From Chilled. How to cook lamb leg perfectly
Needs cooking
Preheat oven.
Electric 200°C / Fan 180°C / Gas 6
Remove from fridge 15 mins before cooking. Remove all packaging and set aside sauce sachet to one side. Transfer lamb and juices into roasting tray and cover with foil. Place directly on oven shelf. Cook for 1 hour. Baste at regular intervals. Remove from oven, remove foil and drain any juices into a jug for later use. Return to oven and cook uncovered for a further 25 mins. Remove from oven. Rest for 10 mins. Pour contents of sauce sachet along with 6 tablespoons of cooking juices into a saucepan and warm over a medium heat. To serve, carefully remove the bone and pull the meat using 2 forks. Pour over the sauce to serve.
