Yummy in pasta, could taste a bit stronger but good on offer
Smooth and creamy
Ocado seems to have stopped selling the crab paste we used to buy so got this in it's stead. Not bad at all, it is smooth, it is creamy - perhaps it could be a little firmer but still OK
2 day shelf life \- come on!
Unless you are super organised with your meal planning and no chance of your plans changing there is no point in buying this, it expires the day after it is delivered. On the occasions I have managed to eat it in time it has been lovely but not really convenient to work around the very short date, sometimes it is money in the bin which is a shame
Alright but too much pepper
I buy this from time to time but then I recall why I'm not that keen! Tastes nice to start with but by the time I've finished eating my mouth is burning. I think it has too much pepper (cayenne and white pepper). Will try to remember not to buy again ...
Great on toast
I love pate but find it can be a bit rich, especially for a regular lunch on toast. I decided to try this having enjoyed other fish pates and deli fillers but I was worried it might be overpowering. It was light and delicious with a smooth, if slightly bitty, texture. It tastes of crab but is mild enough to enjoy alone with bread. I would definitely recommend and will be trying the mackerel pate next time.
