I bought this bread for the first time from an M&S shop so no reviews available to read pre-purchase. I liked it so much I searched for it on Ocado to add to my weekly shop. I was surprised by some of the less than happy reviews but realised I could make an effort to select my shopping without relying on reviews in the future. Lovely light bread, no tearing with my spreadable butter and it's fabulous toasted too.
Nice enough, but not robust
Nice enough thick slices, but not too dense. Others have described them as crumbling, I didnt find that but easily tears when trying to butter. Theres better bread options in my opinion
not a single slice that isn't crumbled in half
I received this as a substitute or I'd never buy it based on reviews. Every slice is in half . It's horribly crumbly and fit for nothing but turning into breadcrumbs
slices fall apart
I received this as a substitution - the slices dont stay intact and crust comes away leaving you with 2/3 of a slice!!
Too much salt to be healthy
A slice of this contains more salt than a bag of crisps! It also contains palm oil and added sugar. So even though it might taste nice, this is a bad choice for personal health and planet health. Shame.
the best wholemeal
Light, not dry, good for sandwiches and makes great toast and
