this butter in not soft
If youre looking for a softer butter dont choose this. It was rock hard even after a good 10 minutes out of the fridge. Its certainly no different to normal butter so not sure why its packaged as being softer. It didnt have a lot of taste either. I wont be buying again.
keep out of the fridge
Does spread easier than standard butter but you need to keep it out of the fridge to notice a difference, which applies to normal butter as well. It wont go off unless your kitchen is particularly warm or it a hot summer day. You can easily keep butter out of the fridge for a couple of weeks without any adverse effects. Its great to be able to have real butter on a sandwich without ruining the bread!
yes its not soft but its the best tasting
We rightly or wrongly leave it out on the side and that makes it useable but agree with everyone it is rock hard in the fridge. But the flavour is the best around without the usual nasties that make it spreadable. Please dont change it!
concrete is probably softer
I have never had such hard spreadable butter. concrete is probably a more appropriate description. tastes good but nope not one for your sandwich
Great taste, unspreadable
This is one of the best butters that I have tasted. But as per the other reviewers not spreadable on sliced bread. Flavour is that good my granddaughter licks it off crackers. If only they could make this spreadable without compromising on the taste. What a conundrum!
Rock hard
I really don't understand how this can be called soft butter as it really is unspreadable
