M&S Spaghetti Bolognese Cooking Paste

Shopping list: Spaghetti bolognese
1 White onion, diced
300g Mushrooms, chopped
500g Beef mince
1 Jar (690g) tomato passata
320g Dried spaghetti
Grated cheese and basil to garnish (optional)
1. Heat 2 tbsp of oil in a saucepan on medium heat. Fry the onions for 5 minutes until golden brown.
2. Add the mushrooms and cook for 4 minutes. Add seasoning paste and cook for a further minute.
3. Add the mince, breaking it up and cook for 5 minutes to brown it.
4. Stir in the passata and bring to the boil. Turn down the heat, and leave to simmer for 20 minutes.
5. Meanwhile cook the spaghetti according to back of pack instructions.
Serve the bolognese sauce on top of the spaghetti. Garnish with some grated cheese and basil if desired.
Why not try... replacing the mince with lentils or chopped vegetables.
