Quality has declined lately
We've bought this loaf quite regularly but over the last few deliveries, the quality has noticeably declined. A loaf used to stay fresh for 3 - 4 days, but recently theyve not lasted more than a day or two before tasting dry and stale. Now looking for an alternative...
Dubious ingredient list
Can anyone tell me what fractionated palm oil is ? It's one of the ingredients in this bread......certainly not something you would use to make bread at home.
Short best before dates
Normally buy Hovis seeded bread from the supermarkets with at least 7 days shelf life. This one had 3 days life so needs to be eaten as soon as delivered. Although it is the same weight 800g as Hovis 7 seeds it is not as large, not as many slices as not as soft. Thought I would try it as some of the reviews were good but we will stick with the one we know and like in future!
Lovely bread, very soft and makes a great sandwich but the ingredients listed on this website and on the packaging is wrong so for that alone, 2 stars
Used to be soft and make great sandwiches, over the last 3 weekly shops, 2 have been dry and the other was extremely mouldy 3 days after opening, looking for alternatives!
its doesnt go mouldy
I accidentally left this bread in the cupboard when going on holiday for 2 weeks. Came back and wasnt mouldy - what do they put in it?!?
