Rather a strange bitter taste
This looked promising and a competitor has an excellent version, but this was not to my taste. It tasted bitter and salty. It might improve by adding olive oil and balsamic vinegar but I will not buy again.
Not perfect but happy enough
I love tabbouleh, I love all the bits that go together to make it what it is. But that can take such a long time so having these as a back up is great. I add a few extra bits in to make it a full salad. Such an easy go to. Also I find it lasts longer without going soggy.
Salty!
So salty I couldnt actually eat more than a few mouthfuls - and I hate wasting food.
SALT SALT SALT
All the flavours taken over by too much salt. Makes me realise how good my homemade version is. Do not recommend.
Could have been so good...
Absolutely loads of herbs, but very tough ones, and not finely chopped enough. Not enough couscous, tomato, lemon or other ingredients, VERY SALTY - kills the flavour. It's such a simple thing to make. How could it go this wrong? It's like chomping on a mouthful of salty grass. Please stick to a proper Middle Eastern recipe.
Salt alert!
I love tabbouleh and was pleased to see another vegan salad available. But this one is a total missed opportunity. It's virtually impossible to taste the ingredients beneath the salt which overpowers everything. The dressing is a bit odd as well. I was trying to guess what it was - lemon and mint wasn't anywhere near my guesses!
