Tenderstem rotting on day of delivery
The green beans were fine and very tasty. However the tenderstem broccoli was rotting on the day of delivery, despite having a date of 7 days ahead (which I thought very strange).
used to be very good but recently..
I have been buying these very regularly for months. The last two weeks = yuk the broccoli stinks. Todays 20/5 was dated 24/5. Do yourself a favour and avoid.
Rotten and full of baby slugs
This was so gross that I had to put gloves on to go through it and see if there was anything edible. There wasnt. Mouldy, squishy, liquified and had the added bonus of baby slugs. I cant believe M&S would allow this to be sold in their shops. Deserves minus stars but thats not possible unfortunately.
Brown, rotten and stinking
This arrived and according to the receipt the product had "over a week" on the date. The broccoli was brown and rotten — the cut ends were beginning to liquefy — and upon opening the produce stunk. Whole lot had to be binned. I don’t know where Ocado are getting some of the dates on their fresh veg beyond a hat. Avoid.
Disappointed
Sweaty and smelly - threw away.
Old Produce
Marks and Spencer no longer put sell by dates on their fresh produce which allows them to pass old, dry, spotty, stringy beans and broccoli as fresh. This happens all the time now. Unacceptable.
