Red Thai Chicken Curry
Serves 2
Ingredients
200ml coconut milk
200g diced chicken
1-2 tsp fish sauce
1 1/2 tsp sugar*
50g cut green beans
Fresh coriander or basil*
Sliced bamboo shoots*
Sliced red chilli*
*Optional extras
1. Remove top tablespoon of coconut milk from the can and heat in a saucepan until the oil begins to split.
2. Stir in one pot of paste, the chicken and green beans.
3. Add the remainder of the coconut milk, fish sauce, sugar and bamboo shoots and simmer until the chicken is cooked (approx. 5 mins). For a thicker curry continue to cook until desired consistency.
Garnish with sliced red chilli and fresh coriander or basil. Also great with prawns or vegetables.

Great pots
Really authentic taste I though. Can make sauce or soup with coconut milk and add any veg etc to it
Very mild taste
This curry paste was much milder than any other brand of red curry paste that I had used in the past. It changed the taste of the dish I was cooking a lot. Wouldn’t recommend

Really handy when you can't be bothered to make your own , I must agree with other reviewers the paste is a little on the thin side so for my personal preference I use two add some extra chilli and coconut milk lovely
not really a paste more a small pot of sauce
This is not like a paste at all. The pastes I've used normally are concentrated thick blocks of flavour. These are almost like little pots of sauce that is not concentrated. Had to use more than one to get any hit of flavour at all, and even then the taste was pretty unbalanced. No idea how they rate the "heat" as medium.
very handy to have in the cupboard
I always keep these in he cupboard for those nights I don't know what to make. they are the perfect size for a quick laksa or small curry. They are not particularly strong or spicy so you can add more spice if you prefer. Great value and nice flavour.
Easy to use
I use 2 for each curry and find the taste and colour to be perfect. I add chilli to the recipe to enhance the flavour - it's a firm favourite in our house.
