Preparation and Usage
1. Using a sharp carving knife and fork, lift the turkey crown onto a chopping board - keep the juices in the foil tray for gravy making.
2. Ensure the turkey crown neck is facing you and start carving. Cut into 5mm thick long slices until you reach the wishbone.
3. Repeat on the other side.
Chef's Tips
for gravy, pour the left over juices into frying pan and place over a medium heat. Add 1 tbsp of cranberry sauce to the juices and allow to simmer for 5 mins.
Serving
Once cooked, delicious hot or cold.
This product contains stock to improve succulence and flavour. Some of the stock may be retained in the flesh during cooking and may be seen when the joint is carved.
Due to the nature of the bacon garnish, the meat may have a light pink colour underneath the bacon when cooked. However, the meat is perfectly safe to eat.

Smells OFF
Shelf life was 1 day on delivery. So I opened the packaging and the turkey smelt off. Binned, message sent to Ocado and I've had no reply. No good.
Succulent
The bad: Even though it was loosely covered, the skin and bacon stuck to the foil and tore, so it didn't look very nice. The pan juice gravy was almost inedibly salty, even diluted with quite a lot of wine. The good: It was very succulent and well-flavoured. The stuffing is grey and fairly smooth and close-textured but tastes good. Traps for young players: the instructions say to butter and season the outside. Not buttering might be why the skin stuck to the foil but it absolutely doesn't need more seasoning. Mine said to cook for 2 hours 40 minutes. At 2 hours 10 minutes the breast had an internal temp of 74C and the stuffing 85C, it would have been overcooked and drying out if I did the whole cook time.
