mmm..full of festive flavour
What a delicious soup. Should be on all year round. Tasted quite mustardy. Doesnt need seasoning. Thoroughly recommend.
Vile
Bought this soup full of excitement thinking it would be fab. Nothing could be further from the truth. Had a horribly weird artificial herb and fishy taste - no idea how or why. After 3 spoons could stomach no more and had to dispose of. M&S soups normally great but God knows what they have done here. Avoid at all costs!
Bland
Soup looks very nice, thick and creamy. However the taste let's it down - it's very bland and doesn't represent the look. I was looking forward to trying it but I won't be buying it again it's quite expensive for what it is.
Not unpleasant but not what it should be
This is a thick and creamy soup which is comforting and filling, however, I found it lacking in all three of its titular flavours. It contains turkey mince rather than shreds or chunks, which is rather unusual for a soup, and the mince is in such tiny pieces that the taste of the meat does not come through very strongly. The bacon pieces were around the same size and close in texture and colour, so it was not easy to decipher which meat was which, and there was virtually no bacon flavour to the product. Additionally, my bowlful contained a couple of pieces of hard gristle. The smell of sage came through far more strongly than the taste, which was a shame. This soup does contain a high proportion of vegetables and these were all of excellent quality, particularly the potatoes. All in all, this is not an unpleasant product but is not an excellent example of a meat soup and could definitely use some recipe tweaks.
Best soup ever
I am so glad I got this because it is the best soup ever. The texture and taste was so comforting yet festive because of the turkey and bacon.
