M&S Collection Ultimate Pork Crackling Joint
We have created the ultimate outdoor bred pork crackling joint by maturing the rind in salt, to ensure a crisp bubbly crackling every time. Basted with natural roast pork stock which provides a succulent finish and rich flavour. So none of the flavours go to waste, we have included a savoury umami flavour bombe to quickly whisk together with the juices to create a flavoursome gravy.
All pork sold at M&S is British, RSPCA Assured and outdoor bred as a minimum welfare standard. Our Pork products are farmed to industry leading standards on M&S Select Farms, where the pigs are born outside before being reared in straw filled, naturally ventilated barns. The pigs live in large social groups and have the ability to exhibit their natural behaviours. Animal health and welfare is closely monitored and is of paramount importance on M&S Select Farms.

Preparation and Usage
NEEDS COOKING
Oven 1 hour 25 mins
Electric 240°C, Fan 220°C, Gas 9
· Preheat oven.
· Remove sleeve, film & place jus sachet to one side.
· Place the joint on a sheet of foil on a baking tray.
· Fold the foil edges up the meaty sides of the joint so that only the rind is exposed.
· Place in the centre of a preheated oven for 1 hour 25 mins.
· Remove the joint from the tray and allow to rest of 5-10 mins.
Serving
· Pour the cooking juices from the pork tray and jus into a saucepan, whisk & simmer.
· Add 200ml water or more to deliver desired consistency.
· Carve the joint through the crackling scores and serve.
· Check product is piping hot and cooked thoroughly.
Do not reheat.

Oven cook - From Chilled. Handling raw meat safely: this product contains raw meat and must be cooked according to the cooking instructions.
