Preparation and Usage
Classic Pancakes
1 Sachet Makes 28
Thin, golden pancakes ready for your favourite fillings.
1 sachet Batter Mix
520ml Water
Vegetable Oil for Cooking
1. Place 200g of the batter mix (1 sachet) into a bowl.
2. Add 520ml of water and whisk until well-combined and lump-free.
3. Heat a non-stick frying pan over a medium heat and add 5ml (1tsp) of vegetable oil.
4. Pour in enough batter to make a thin pancake.
5. Wait until the top of the pancake begins to set, then turn it over until both sides are golden. Remove from the pan.
6. Repeat until all the batter is used.
Yorkshire Puddings
1 Sachet Makes 28
Also ideal for making delicious Toad in the Hole.
1 sachet Batter Mix
90ml Vegetable Oil
450ml Cold Water
2 x 12 Hole Yorkshire
Pudding Trays
Oven 220ºC / Fan 200ºC / Gas Mark 7
1. Pre-heat the oven to 220°C/ Fan 200°C/Gas mark 7.
2. Spoon 5ml (1 tsp) of vegetable oil into 18 of the wells in the Yorkshire pudding trays. Put in the oven and pre-heat for 5 minutes.
3. Place 200g of the batter mix (1 sachet) into a mixing bowl.
4. Gradually add 450ml of cold water and whisk until smooth. Pour the mixture into 18 wells of the 2 tins, and bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden
