Good portion. Very filling.
Bought in the flash sale. I am celiac so always willing to try anything gluten free. 3mins in the microwave and it was ready. Pasta was soft and there was lots of creamy sauce with little bits of bacon. I thought it tasted very strong of smoked bacon, my husband said it was tasty. I cooked a few left over mushrooms....(they needed to be cooked) Serves one but I divided it between two of us and served with some Chicken and salad. I agree with the other reviewer that there is no taste of pepper, cheese or nutmeg. It needs more seasoning for sure. Perfectly good enough to eat by itself, good portion size.
Weird Aftertaste
There is such a weird almost tangy aftertaste, I had to add garlic butter and it still didn't make it better.
An insult to carbonara
The spaghetti (which was the best part of the dish) was swimming in a bland, milky sauce with a few sad sliced pieces of bacon. No taste of egg or cheese or pepper- the three key ingredients (after pancetta or guanciale). What a bad day to have taste buds.
Really good
I normally make my own carbonara but purchased this in a flash sale which hubby enjoyed for a quick lunch. Exceptionally tasty for a ready meal, would definitely buy again.
Great
This is a really good GF pasta, I don’t eat GF very often but this was on an flash sale…. it was lovely. Best thing is you don’t feel so full and bloated with GF. Definitely recommend, I have had many different spaghetti carbonara’s including making my own.
The worst ....
No idea if I got a bad batch but this was practically inedible and ended up in the bin , twice .What passes for spaghetti was hard as hell when cooked to instructions and even with the addition of some creme fraiche didn't soften sufficiently , Bin again .
