Great finishing salt

I absolutely love this salt and was really happy to find it in these larger, sealable tubs. Good quality salt which can enhance any recipe or cooking. Has not disappointed so far and I plan to buy more in the future.

Best Salt and About Packaging

I use a lot of salt for pickling vegetables. Although I won't use another type of salt as I am very happy with Maldon I agree that packaging in thick p;astic tub is a problem. I suggest Maldon sells refill packs in thin plastic bags as paper would absorb moisture. I personally am happy to transfer in a glass jar after buying.

Who in their right mind wants salt in cardboard?

The product itself is brilliant, clean, flakey, and works great in the kitchen. All those who prefer a cardboard packaging are the same people who would be first to moan that their salt is moist and in comes huge clusters. Just it properly.

Great product.

Absolutely love Maldon salt. Will not use any other brand now. While I am eco rep at work and strive to use everything environmentally friendly, the big tub is still better to use. The plastic wrapping the salt is wrapped in in the card boxes cannot be recycled whereas the tubs can be repurposed. Grow herbs in them. Store your bits and bobs in them. Donate to schools/nurseries for junk modelling.
