20% less than Savoury Engevita with B12
This product is slightly grittier to the taste than the 'normal' one I buy. And it has very little extra 'food value' in it despite the hype. I would not buy it again because of the added cost, not to mention the smaller size - 100g rather than 125g. What's more, the comparative photo of all three tins of Engevita gives no idea that the most expensive, at normal price, is dearer than the 125g offering. What you think you see is 'only in your mind'. Caveat emptor!
Thanks to Joe Wicks Veggie Lean in 15 Book I discovered this ingredient. Replace grated cheese with this for a vegan dish. Absolutely superb lentil bolognase !!
SO CHEESY! & B12
Super happy to try a new Engevita. I loved the B12 but this one has even more B12!! Really good for me because I was feeling tired a lot. Also its more yellow and has a stronger cheesy taste than the others I think. Which helps with some recipes. Anyway, I really like it. Will keep it in the cupboard always
Tastes like the other ones, but with added D. Delicious.
good way of getting vitamins
This is a good idea of getting vitamins in but is much finer in texture thats the other two nutritional yeasts I generally use the b12 one. This is less in weight but easier to travel with as smaller. I much prefer the thicker b12 nutritional yeast as it can be sprinkled on pasta and soup. The finer grains just disappear on hot food.
I prefer the taste of this out of all the others. The fact it had D3, Zinc and B12 is what attracted me to this product as I have health issues that makes my needs for certain vitamins and minerals higher. I just sprinkle this on my food and it gives it a nice savoury taste. I havent only started taking this so I cant comment on any health benefits yet but its tasty and fits my needs.
