Sharp and acidic

Received this as a substitution and was very disappointed. We regularly select Marlborough Sauvignon Blancs but this was very disappointing. There was a taste of grapefruit but it was very sharp and acidic. Not quite paint stripper but close.

Exceptional

First had this in Iceland in a fancy restaurant as part of their tasting menu and wine pairing. Tastes amazing and goes very well with fish dishes.

Breakfast wine

Not generally a fan of white wine, more of a red wine/beer man. However I could drink this wine for breakfast. So crisp and refreshing, particularly after a night on the sauce. Maybe I need rehab. Or maybe I just need more wine. Hic.

Nice enough.

Lovely colour. Tiny bubbles though. I’m never keen on that. Crisp clean melon taste. But bubbles.
