Meh
I don't know, I just don't get much depth of flavour from this. Tastes like a good red wine vinegar but not rich enough for balsamic.
Versatile Balsamic
Im happy with this balsamic, goes lovely with tomato, mozzarella and rocket salad, Ive added this to a tomato based pasta sauce, and very happy when I use this to make a dressing. Lovely flavour and reasonably priced.
Superb good value balsamic vinegar
This is an excellent baslamic vinegar, not sweetened, not sticky, great flavour and good value. Highly recommended.
Bland
Rather boring without character. Wouldn’t buy again
no added sulphur!
For some one with sulphite allergy this is a Godsend. Almost all other products contain added sulphur, whereas this doesnt. Tastes great too!
Traditional sweet balsamic vinegar \- not a glaze!
I think some reviews are unfair. This is a traditional balsamic vinegar (a naturally sour liquid, not a syrup), you can mix it with olive oil, salt and pepper to make a salad dressing. I use 1 part vinegar to 2 part olive oil with balsamic, 1 to 3 for more sour vinegars like cider vinegar. This is NOT a glaze (which has sugar added) and it only has a naturally slightly sweet after taste. It has a more complex sweeter aftertaste taste than the Ponti Balsamic Vinegar (which is still nice by the way but less flavoursome) hence the more expensive price. And it is organic.
