lovely
Lovely choc and biscuit.
Nice
Mildly dark. I don’t like dark chocolate but I love these. R aged 10.
Law to stop changing ingredients on the sly.
I don’t know if the ingredients have changed and that’s the problem. I suspect manufacturers are messing with ingredients all the time. There should be a law that insists they announce any changes on the packet.
They changed the recipe in 2020
McVities won't admit it, but they totally have. They now taste cheap and claggy. M&S version is far superior but Ocado have decided not to stock these for months and months now. I refuse to buy McVities until they bring back the old recipe.
I suspect second rate ingredients
The wheat used in these has very little flavour and the chocolate is wafer thin and sugary. Cardboard like biscuit that coats the mouth in a horrible waxy texture. I know that these are revered, but for the life of me I cant think why. Not worth the calories
What's happened to these?
These have been our preferred chocolate digestive for years but recently they taste far too sweet and less crumbly digestive.
