Boo to palm oil!
I was so disappointed to hear that McVitie's has now snuck palm oil into these biscuits. The forest-school teacher at school used to give these to the children as an example of an eco-friendly product, but what a shame that we now have to tell them that it isn't!
Sometimes only a dunked rich tea will do.
A classic and great in tiffin.
My Favourite Biscuit ...
These are my Favourite Biscuit. I gave tried other brands but always come back to Mcvite. The Taste us far superior.I always have one in the Morning with my First Cup of Tea. Don't ever stop selling them...
Now contain palm oil avoid!
I have been buying mcvities rich tea as one of the only non all butter biscuits available that doesn’t contain palm oil. I had heard they had now switched to palm oil despite the packs still saying sunflower oil so I contacted them to check. They are indeed now using palm oil apparently because of the Ukraine war. It also happens to be much cheaper so will likely boost their profits! Anyone who cares about the planet should now avoid this product.
Now contains palm oil
One of the few standard biscuits that didn't use palm oil, but now they do.
disappointing change
Disappointed that ingredient change means they now contain palm oil.
