Squeeze the pouch to loosen the lentils.
For best results, heat through in a pan with a dash of water. Otherwise, tear a 2cm opening at the top and microwave for 45s at 900w, or simply enjoy them cold.
A recipe for change
For quick and simple plant-based meatballs, add a glug of water to a handful of oats in a processor then blitz. Add the lentils, sautéed garlic and shallots, flour, tomato purée, vegan parmesan then season to taste. Blitz again, press into small balls and shallow fry. Once browned, add to your favourite tomato sauce and enjoy!

Fabulous
Delicious with minimal ingredients. Thank you for using olive oil instead of the harmful seed oils (Sunflower and rapeseed) :)
recipe changed
really disappointed recipe has changed to include softer lentils. more mushy texture, won't be buying anymore.
Great addition to the store cupboard
We love these. They are so handy for soups and Tagines. Highly recommend.
beware
Once 97% Puy lentils, these are now only 58% Puy. The pack supplied to me looks just like the old Puy lentil pack, with the word Puy in large capital letters, but then underneath in much smaller lowercase letters the words and French green lentils now appears. This sort of thing really shouldnt be permitted.
Shhhh ...
... no one will notice if we swap out half the puy for some cheaper green lentils! There are many grounds upon which to assume the British public can be a bit thick over the last 7 years, but most people will spot a lentil heist :)
no longer just puy lentils
Have added green ones which are totally different and not premium product. What a joke. You have just lost a long standing costumer who uses to buy these weekly.
