Product Information
Discover the pure, potent taste of our Monofloral MGO® Manuka Honey, sourced exclusively from the pristine landscapes of New Zealand's North and South Islands. Each batch is independently tested in a UK laboratory to ISO 17025 standards, ensuring the highest quality and authenticity.
Our honey is unblended, meaning you get 100% pure Monofloral Manuka honey without any dilution from high-peroxide or multifloral varieties. We proudly label our honey based on its minimum Methylglyoxal (MGO) content (mg/kg), a key natural compound responsible for its unique properties.
Packed into a premium glass jar, our honey is protected to maintain its superior quality while supporting the environment by avoiding plastics.
As a British company rooted in core British values, we source the best ingredients from around the world and fully comply with all UK and European regulations, ensuring you receive a product you can trust.
The majority of our honey is creamed and set to reduce crystallisation within the honey. Use a hot knife or spoon and the honey will naturally melt.
Features
Our Manuka honey is made by the bees gathering pollen from the Manuka bush. Monofloral Manuka is not blended with honey from other nations. We made the decision as a brand to adopt new stringent guidelines, in line with the New Zealand government approved standard. Product is tested in both New Zealand, where our Manuka honey is harvested, and by an independent UK laboratory.
Manuka Honey Rating
Methylglyoxal is the active compound directly responsible for the antibacterial activity unique to Manuka honey. The higher the Methylglyoxal content of MGO Manuka Honey, the stronger the antibacterial activity. This new way of rating Manuka honey activity levels is in line with New Zealand Government guidelines and replaces the old 5+,10+,15+,20+ rating systems.
