hard and stale

I can't fault the bread it tastes nice. It could be a good loaf but unfortunately it was delivered so close to the best by date that it was dried out and hard. I can't imagine the bakery sends it so late to Ocado. For the price I expect better

Bread is very good, but for ONE day only. Ocado keeps delivering this large loaf of bread with expiry date of ONE or TWO days only, so unfortunately, it gets mouldy and goes to garbage bin after one day. If Ocado keeps selling out of date products why they charge us full price??

Arrived stale and hard as a brick, even after toasting I found it hard to eat.

Very disappointed, it was hard ( how a previous reviewer made a sandwich out of it is beyond me ) and chewy . If toasted which didn't brown it and you used a lot of butter it was just about edible. Have persevered to finish it as it cost £5 .

57% spelt, the rest is rye

Careful with this if you have gluten intolerance!

I usually buy Celtic Bakers Organic Spelt Sourdough but it was out of stock. Dont want to leave a negative review but I will stick to my usual. I had greater expectations paying a higher price. Not really sure why its more expensive
