sublime
This sloe gin is amazingly good! Its not too sweet and still maintains the character of the Monkey 47 gin. The only downside is the eye-watering price, which means I have to enjoy it sparingly.
Delicious winter drink
Loved the flavour of this sloe gin, a real burst of fruit without being overly sweet like some of the other commercial available sloe gins. Perfect neat poured over ice, or topped up with some Prosecco. I’m thinking about trying a sloe gin negroni next. This just might become my favourite winter tipple.
A special treat
The flavours burst open much more than a std Gin. Well done Black forest.
Lovely neat or with fizz
Love Sloe Gin - great neat to warm the cockles on a cold day, or a drop in the bottom of a glass of fizz. Would be even better if in a gift box like the standard to make a nice present
Just delicious
Stunning blend. A delicious 'special' drink. Perfect Christmas gift idea for a friend of mine too!
High quality sloe gin
I’ve historically been a gin philistine, mainly guided by price. But after a Gin tasting experience, I have begun to branch out. This bottle was the first time I’d tried a sloe gin and I was very impressed. The bottle is high quality and the gin has a lovely dark amber colour. The taste is not like normal gins, it is fruity and sour, and smooth as oppose to sharp. Would never have a “normal gin” neat due to its sharpness, but sloe gin can be enjoyed with or without mixer/tonic. Great option for someone fancying a luxurious sloe gin.
