Too much bitter cocoa powder

This product is clearly made from high quality ingredients and has a deep, rich taste. The truffles are quite firm, edging closer to the consistency of solid chocolate than a ganache. Each one has a generous dusting of cocoa powder but this brings a rather bitter taste, as well as a cloying mouthfeel, ultimately detracting from the overall eating experience. The cocoa powder also makes eating them quite messy! They are not a bad product but those seeking a smooth, velvety truffle should look elsewhere.

Love these!

We love truffles in this house and always love to have some for a treat! We often go for artisan products from companies like melt and charbonel et walker but these are so good to have as a backup, and much cheaper too. I think theyre great value for the price.
