Mr Fothergills Seeds DT Brown Mixed Spicy Salad Leaves

Perfect for those who like a little bit of heat or bite to their salad. The different leaf shapes, textures and flavours provide a ready mixed salad.

For outdoor sowing
When March to August.
Where In large pots, containers, grow bags or a seed bed.
How Sow thinly in a pot or tub approx. 30cm diameter and 25cm deep, or in rows 25cm apart. Cover lightly with 1.5cm of fine soil. Firm gently and keep moist. Seedlings appear 7-14 days. For continuous crops sow every 2-3 weeks.
Care For baby leaves, thin to 5cm apart if plants are crowded. Keep moist and weed free at all times.
Harvest April to October. Pick individual baby leaves as required, a few from each plant, they will regrow for up to 4 cuts.

Add to lettuce and other mild leaves to add a little heat.
