For outdoor sowing
When March to May and August to October.
Where In a prepared seed bed in flowering position.
How Sow thinly in rows 30cm apart. Cover lightly with 0.5cm of fine soil. Firm gently and keep moist. Seedlings appear 14-28 days. Make 2-3 sowings for a longer flowering season.
Care When large enough thin to 20cm apart. Keep moist and weed free. Late sowings flower early the following year. Protect autumn sowings with cloches in cold weather.
Flowers June to October. Regular cutting of fresh and faded blooms will prolong flowering.
