Carefully crafted from organic chickpea flour, Mr Organic Chickpea Rice is the perfect substitute for regular rice or pasta in any dish. High in protein and fibre and low in fat, it is an excellent ingredient for a nutritious, healthy and filling meal for you and your family. Make any dish unique with our chickpea rice by using it in a colourful rice salad, a hearty soup or as a base ingredient in a risotto.

Cooking instructions: Add to a pan of salted simmering water (use 1 litre of water for every 100g of chickpea rice). Stir once or just enough to separate the rice. Boil for 11 minutes or until al dente.

Really nice

Didn't know what to expect with this and bought it on a whim. Used it in place of usual rice - its probably a bit more like pasta than rice but was really tasty.

love it! its somewhere between rice and orzo

Love this! Its tasty but doesnt taste too chickpea-y. The texture is great, its fat grains so more like a brown rice that white. Im on a restrictive diet and have to really make sure what I eat is nutritious and this is perfect for that. I have already ordered more.

more like pasta

I usually love alternatives but this chickpea rice was more similar to orzo to me. I will continue with quinoa and hemp seeds as my rice alternative as they offer more of a nutty flavour with similar texture to rice.

A great find.

Super chuffed with this!! My autistic son has a handful of safety foods he eats, rice being one of them. This has been a great opportunity to introduce more variety in his diet. He didn’t even flinch when he took a spoonful!! We had to go into the other room and my partner and I did a little dance because this doesn’t happen. Yes we’re that type of household. Hope they never discontinue this.

Absolutely loved it

Amazed with this stuff. Healthy and nutritious - but the biggest plus for me was - served it to the husband that doesn't want to try anything new, he gobbled it up as he would his 'normal' white rice and didn't utter a word. I win. Ha!

absolutely amazing

10/10 for this. A lot more nutritious and healthy. This cooks and tastes amazing. Ive had 1 chickpea rice before but this mr organic one beats it by a mile. Ill never eat regular rice ever again
