This product is not gluten free. Seitan has gluten

This product is mis-labelled. It reads contains wheat and gluten free. It’s not gluten free. For those with coeliacs disease this could have minor consequences at best and badly affect sufferers’ health at worst. Anyway it’s not good. Emailed Ocado yesterday, but don’t hold your breath it will be amended any time soon from our own experience. So be warned, it’s not gluten free.

Where is the seitan

It was OK, added garlic, ginger and some seasoning. It's a bit bland and definitely had zero seitan. Felt over priced for what it offered.

OK, a bit watery

I found this incredibly watery compared to other pasta sauces, it had a consistency more like stewed tomatoes than a nice thick passata or ragu. Taste wise it was OK but there wasn't as much seitan in it as I was expecting really, you definitely need to add more to get enough protein in a meal, which kind of defeats the purpose of putting any in the jar at all!

The best ready made sauce I've ever had

Amazing, rich, flavoursome with the right amount of heat. Its not too sugary sweet or bland like other sauces. The only thing I will say is, I wish the seitan pieces were bigger. In terms of flavor and texture it's the best ready made sauce I've ever had (I should know, I'm Italian!) I highly recommend it.

So good to have as a standby sauce. Good mouth feel with small pieces of seitan with a hint of heat.
