If you're doing the massage yourself, use your thumbs. If your partner is helping you, they'll probably use their index fingers. Put your thumbs (or fingers) up to the second knuckle into the vagina. Slowly and firmly, press down towards the anus. While parting your thumbs (or fingers), make sweeping movements to either side and back again. This massage should be comfortable, although a stretching sensation is normal. This product is safe for use throughout pregnancy, but we particularly recommend perineal massage 2-3 times per week from 34 weeks of pregnancy. For external use only.
