delicious homely and comforting
Absolutely divine. Cant understand the reviews about it being watery: it is a BROTH. I love brothy soups rather than a thick indistinguishable purée so this was perfect. Added some a sprinkle of maldon, pepper and drizzle of evoo and licked the bowl clean. This will be a repeat order.
Perfect apart from too salty
This would be perfect if it was just a little less salty
Closer to homemade than most
Definitely more of a health kick soup but in a good way - I add a bit of cream if its feeling too virtuous. I love the combo of lentils with bite and decent amount of garlic. Feels closer to homemade than a lot of bought soups.
Appalling!
Mine was sour!! Tasted faul! Absolutely disgusting! Really disappointed and will never purchase again!!
Watery tasteless
I wish I had read reviews before ordering this soup. I love any types of soup but this one was not for me at all! watery tasteless with big pieces of kale and crunchy pieces of carrots. Lentile was OK but could be softer to make tasty soup. it did not have consistency. Water on top and lentils on the bottom.
\x22Pond water\x22
I bought this as it was on a flash sale at £1.75. It wasn't worth that, neither is it worth the £3.50 full price. The picture doesn't show what it's like. I was expecting a soup full of veg and lentils. It was actually a (small) cup of stock with lentils and kale in and a few other bits and pieces. Thoroughly unappealing, leading a colleague to comment that it looked like pond water. I ended up snacking all afternoon as this was totally unsatisfying. Reading other people's reviews suggest that many others feel the same way. Will NOT be buying it again.
