FLAVOUR IS A FRONTIER
Natoora Black Muscat Grapes 350g
-Seeded wine grapes, with thick skins and a good balance of sugar and acidity.
-Bunch stems will be brown, not green - this is the colour of a ripe vine.
-Grown by Jean-Emmanuel in the clay-limestone valley of Moissac, where his family have been growing vines since 1870.
-He still practices traditional growing methods now rarely seen in the grape industry, which favours high-yielding varieties grown intensively and with chemical intervention.
-Wildflowers and linseed grow between the trellises as natural pest control, resulting in open pollination of his eight different varieties.
Take it further
-Roast with chicken or duck, drizzle with cooking juices.
-Poach lightly in spiced syrup, serve with granola and yoghurt.

Like the majority of Natoora goods, its not fresh
Twice I bought this, the first time was not satisfactory but I decided to give it a second chance. Well, no more chances. The grapes were sweet but rather flaccid, and they didnt come in a whole bunch, but many bits and pieces like they were scraped together from the bottom of the barrel. The stalks were already wilted or dried out, an indication that they were severed from the vine a long time ago. To be honest I did not expect much from Natoora because all the produce I bought before had the same problem, be they mushrooms, tomatoes and beetroots, etc.
I have no issue with the skin or the seeds, which were fine and not a problem in the least. I do have a problem with the flaccid, elderly grapes. These weren't rotten, but were pretty unplatable on age grounds. Real shame - can't even make a smoothie with them due to pips.
Real healthy grapes. Far better than the victoria grapes from waitrose. These are what grapes should be. Full of seeds and flavour. Just as nature intended. YUM
great flavour but...
...far too many seeds. I don't usually go for seedless grapes but there are far too many here.
Great taste but full of seeds. My fault, I didn't spot that they weren't seedless. I'd forgotten how tiresome it is spitting out all those seeds. Shame because they are really tasty.
These grapes are real as the grapes was many many years ago. Full of flavor and with seeds. I would recommend to treat yourself and your kids!!!
