We look for rich colouration and dense, jammy flesh: a sign they have not been aggressively grown or pumped full of water. Where are Natoora’s apricots grown? While at Natoora we stick with a single source for certain produce, we move between our trusted growers in Spain, France, Italy and the UK respectively for our apricots, chasing their flavour as the seasons change. What can I cook with apricots? Apricots have a subtle sharpness that pairs well with terrines, pâtés and other fatty meats. For a mouthwatering dessert, combine them with fragrant vanilla or herbal cardamom to bring out their sweetness. What is Natoora? Natoora sells flavour-first produce sourced through direct and transparent relationships with our growers. Not only does this create a unique supply chain; but through face-to-face conversations with our growers and tasting their produce at origin, we always know what’s in season, ensuring that our produce is at its freshest and most flavourful when it reaches you. Natoora also works with deli, dairy and dry goods producers who share our commitment to provenance, and we make our own range of soups, dips, juices and wholegrain sourdough breads.
