FLAVOUR IS A FRONTIER
Natoora Sicilian Green Cara Cara Orange
- We started sourcing pink-fleshed Cara Cara oranges from Sicily in what we call their ‘green state’, at various stages of pre-ripeness up to eight weeks before their usual harvest.
- We took this step because we wanted to capture the potent essential oils in the skin, which fade as the fruit ripens.
- Unwaxed, thick green peel contrasts with vivid pink bittersweet flesh.
In this state they are ideal for culinary use: zest, marinade, acidic juice for dressings. The flesh is dense and juicy but the flavour is sharp.
- Grown without the use of chemical sprays or fertilisers.
As the season goes on, their skin will begin to turn a ripe yellow/orange.
Take it further
- Use for candied peel.
- Zest into marinades, juice for dressings.

1 Piece of Fruit!!!!
Very tasty but too expensive for 1 orange. This hasn't been put in the description, the quantity is nowhere to be found as far as I could see. If its there and I couldn't see it then Ocado should make this more visible. It is very misleading because you can see 3 oranges on the picture, I would've never though I would get 1 orange only. Also the one I got is not pink and the skin is not green. MISLEADING!
taste like very delicious orange bast Cara Cara or
very delicious fruit I ever tried in my life
IT'S AN ORANGE
I GOT A SMALL SWEET YELLOW ORANGE. NOT AS ADVERTISED AND A WASTE OF MONEY
1 orange £££!
Delicious but too expensive for 1 orange.
1 single orange!!
should have read previous review... 1 singe orange wrapped in a net, not great value for money.... yet have to try it
Literally 1 piece of fruit
It didn't register with me that the lack of an 's' on this product means that it is merely one single orange. In terms of flavour, it's a bit like a flat grapefruit with less of everything that makes a grapefruit grapefruity. Why bother, you ask. Indeed.
