We have 10 special varieties of white peaches grown for us by Domenico in Campania, who only harvests when properly ripe, a process that intensively farmed growers no longer perform. Domenico capitalises on the long hours of sunshine and mild climate, thinning the branches early in the season to allow the remaining fruit to absorb a higher concentration of nutrients. What is a Greta peach? For 2 weeks of the year, around mid-July, Domenico’s Greta peach comes into season with an acidic floral flavour and its characteristic blooming of bright red inside. This stunning peach variety is highly anticipated by the food community annually. How to eat Natoora Italian Ripe White Peaches Sliced, seasoned with extra virgin olive oil and served with mozzarella and fresh basil, these peaches make for a refreshing summer salad. What is Natoora? Natoora sells flavour-first produce sourced through direct and transparent relationships with our growers. Not only does this create a unique supply chain; but through face-to-face conversations with our growers and tasting their produce at origin, we always know what’s in season, ensuring that our produce is at its freshest and most flavourful when it reaches you. Natoora also works with deli, dairy and dry goods producers who share our commitment to provenance, and we make our own range of soups, dips, juices and wholegrain sourdough breads.
