| FLAVOUR IS EVERYTHING Natoora Italian Round Aubergine What is the difference between a round aubergine and a classic aubergine? Natoora’s large round aubergines are grown with minimal intervention by our growers in Southern Italy. They have thin, very bright purple skins and boast a particularly dense, seedless flesh, which is free from the bitter taste which can be found in intensively-grown aubergine varieties. How to: cook a round aubergine Cut open lengthways, marinade in Middle Eastern spices, roast, then top with yoghurt and honey. These aubergines slow-cook nicely in hearty vegetarian stews. Piercing the skin and roasting or barbecuing until very custardy inside is the starting point for a smoky homemade baba ganoush, combined with tahini, lemon juice and salt. What is Natoora?
