What makes San Marzano Tomatoes so special?


At Natoora, we select our San Marzano style tomatoes for their meaty flesh, full body and bittersweet flavour. Their lack of excess water and few seeds, along with a very easy to peel skin, make them ideal for cooking a fresh homemade passata from scratch. These tomatoes are grown in rich Italian soil, where the climate naturally ripens and nourishes them.


How to serve San Marzano Tomatoes


These tomatoes make a simple but flavourful pasta sauce when chopped, then slowly reduced with chilli flakes, salt and basil leaves. For a fresh salad, half them, top with high quality anchovy fillets and thin slivers of gently fried garlic.
