| FLAVOUR IS EVERYTHING Natoora Organic British Fresh Sweetcorn Why is Natoora Fresh Sweetcorn so good? Sweetcorn is a highly industrialised crop worldwide and incredibly difficult to grow organically. Grown by James in Ipswich and Duncan in Lancashire, two organic growers whose families have been growing on the land for nearly 70 and 100 years respectively, our sweetcorn is direct-drilled into the soil in late spring, meaning the plants need to fend off pest pressure over three months over summer before the crop matures. How to: cook with Fresh Sweetcorn Grill the whole cob, brushed liberally with butter, chilli flakes and lime. We like to toss blanched kernels through summer salads for added sweetness and crunch. Save the stripped cobs and boil them to make a rich vegetarian stock. What is Natoora? Natoora sells flavour-first produce sourced through direct and transparent relationships with our growers. Not only does this create a unique supply chain; but through face-to-face conversations with our growers and tasting their produce at origin, we always know what’s in season, ensuring that our produce is at its freshest and most flavourful when it reaches you.
