Product Information
FLAVOUR IS A FRONTIER
Natoora Seasonally Selected British Apples
- Our apple selection will change with the season as and when varieties ripen. Each variety is picked by hand.
- We start with early season Red Windsor and move through Worcester Pearmain, Lord Lambourne, Jonaprince, Mairac, Fuji and other British apple varieties.
- Each has its own characteristic flavour, from the strawberry notes of a Worcester Pearmain to the savouriness of a Russet.
- Our apples are grown in the High Weald of East Sussex, in 30 acres of orchard planted in the middle of 20th century.
- Harvest is typically a little later in this corner of the world, as the light intensity is lower: the apples grow more slowly and develop more mature flavour.
Take it further
- Thinly sliced, tossed with seasonal bitter leaves and fennel.
- Cut into wedges, served with hard cheese.
