Product Information
| FLAVOUR IS A FRONTIER Natoora Sicilian Pomegranate - We source our exceptionally heavy, syrup-rich Pomegranates direct from Marco, our grower in Sicily. - Pomegranates don't ripen after being picked, so they must be harvested at full maturity. - Marco and his team use a refractometer to check sucrose levels, ensuring the perfect balance of acidity, sweetness, and shape before harvesting. - His ripe, dark seeded pomegranates are a world apart from the bland, long-travelled fruit we see on the market. Slice into quarters horizontally, whack the outer skin with a wooden spoon to remove seeds. Take it further - Toss with shaved fennel, blood orange, and olive oil. - Pair with slow-roasted duck and a pomegranate glaze for a rich, sweet-acidic finish. Natoora's radical approach to seasonal sourcing is shaping the future of food - We are revolutionising the food system. - We work direct with growers who value flavour, biodiversity and heritage over yield. - We give them the support they need to build a better future for food, rooted in small scale, sustainable agriculture that gives back to our planet. |
