Product Information
| FLAVOUR IS EVERYTHING Natoora Amarillo Yellow Peaches What are Amarilla Yellow Peaches? Grown outdoors in rich clay soil, Amarillo Percoca peaches are bright yellow in colour and recognisable as the peach that is usually tinned with syrup. They have thin skin and a luxuriously silky, sweet flesh. When can you get Amarilla Yellow Peaches? The season starts in southern Spain in late June, but we prefer to wait for the varieties grown in Calanda to reach their peak, leaving them on the tree as long as possible. This small town in Aragon is DOP certified and celebrated for these peaches, which are always worth the wait. How to serve Amarilla Yellow Peaches? Amarillo Yellow Peaches are particularly suited to poaching, due to the high concentration of natural sugars in their flesh. We love to poach them with fragrant bay and lemon peel. They’re delicious halved and roasted, served on sourdough with ricotta. Freshly sliced, their taste and one of summer nostalgia. What is Natoora? Natoora sells flavour-first produce sourced through direct and transparent relationships with our growers. Not only does this create a unique supply chain; but through face-to-face conversations with our growers and tasting their produce at origin, we always know what’s in season, ensuring that our produce is at its freshest and most flavourful when it reaches you. Natoora also works with deli, dairy and dry goods producers who share our commitment to provenance, and we make our own range of soups, dips, juices and wholegrain sourdough breads. Our packaging is plastic-free and home compostable. Dispose of the blue punnet in your normal recycling and the clear film in your food waste bin. |
