Used to be better
The onions I received tonight were rotten. They arrived in brown paper bag and were much smaller than usual too. They were soft and must have well past date to use. They also had black mould on the bottom. Never had this bad quality before and I buy every week.
Rotten & Stinky
Sounds like a bad 90s DJ team, but 2 packs delivered and both rotten and black in the middle. The kitchen still stinks the day after!
Perfect Salad Ingredient
Ive bought these regularly over the last 6 months and have never been disappointed. Yes, they are mild, but they are sweet and crunchy. Definitely a favourite. I use them in salads, kebabs, onion rings. Too good to use as an ingredient in other dishes.
On offer but only as they were half the size !
I buy these regularly at full price. they are expensive for onions but I use them raw or in dishes where the onion can be tasted. They usually quite large as onions go but this week they were quite small. Ocado must have noticed too as they were on offer 2 packs with 25% off. shame Ocado didn't mention that fact in the offer!
pricey but high quality and big onions
Large white, excellent quality onions. I got this on a flash deal so it was well worth it
Nice and sweet and mild
As others have said, when these are good they are great. Having said that we get these quite often and have only had a couple of bad (ish) ones.
