FLAVOUR IS EVERYTHING

Natoora Wild Girolles Mushrooms

Where do Wild Girolles Mushrooms come from?

The mildest, wettest temperatures are ideal for these mushrooms, so to ensure the best flavour, Natoora’s wild girolles are foraged across Scotland and Europe, following the ideal climate throughout their natural season (June to December). They’re sustainably picked from the forest floor, where the rich undergrowth are the perfect growing conditions.

How to: cook with Wild Girolles

Treat these naturally buttery mushrooms simply, sauté them with parsley and butter, and serve on sourdough for a perfect brunch. We also like to stir them through risotto, topped with an acidic gremolata.

What is Natoora?

Natoora sells flavour-first produce sourced through direct and transparent relationships with our growers. Not only does this create a unique supply chain; but through face-to-face conversations with our growers and tasting their produce at origin, we always know what’s in season, ensuring that our produce is at its freshest and most flavourful when it reaches you. Natoora also works with deli, dairy and dry goods producers who share our commitment to provenance, and we make our own range of soups, dips, juices and wholegrain sourdough breads.

Our packaging is plastic-free and home compostable. Dispose of the blue punnet in your normal recycling and the clear film in your food waste bin.
