Natoora Yellow Nectarines

Where do yellow nectarines grow?

Our season for Yellow Nectarines begins in Campania in Italy, where the weather is warmer earlier in the year. - As summer progresses we move northwards to a specialist stone fruit grower in Montauban, France, chasing the flavour.

What’s the difference between a yellow nectarine and a white nectarine?

Patience should be exercised when harvesting nectarines; they should be picked fully ripe, sweet and juicy. This applies to both colours. Yellow nectarines have a bright yellow insides and their reddish skins become speckled with sugars that burst to the surface. Our white nectarines have a redder skins and their white flesh inside is speckled with red streaks.

How to: cook with nectarines

Poached them with a bay leaf, cracked black pepper, sugar and lemon peel. Half them and bake them onto a galette. For a salad, serve them with creamy ricotta, flaky sea salt and fresh basil.

What is Natoora?

Natoora sells flavour-first produce sourced through direct and transparent relationships with our growers. Not only does this create a unique supply chain; but through face-to-face conversations with our growers and tasting their produce at origin, we always know what’s in season, ensuring that our produce is at its freshest and most flavourful when it reaches you. Natoora also works with deli, dairy and dry goods producers who share our commitment to provenance, and we make our own range of soups, dips, juices and wholegrain sourdough breads.

Our packaging is plastic-free and home compostable. Dispose of the blue punnet in your normal recycling and the clear film in your food waste bin.
